"A few more" underscores the point that this conflict could go on until Kingdom Come.

NEWS FLASH!!! WMD's have been found in Iraq, Pakistan, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza. They are moving around wearing belts of explosives, planting IED's, and making car bombs. Keep up the good work NATO!

Another total fluff story. Firstly, there is an unlimited supply of "militants". Secondly, how do they define who was a "militant" and was a local villager? Just stand by for the predictable counter-claims that Nato killed "civilians".
This gigantic waste of Western ressources for an impossible mission is so sad.

"Denmark... has more than 700 troops serving in the NATO-led force"
Denmark is about the only other country than the U.S. with a significant contribution of troops proportionate to their population in Afghanistan.

WilliB...studies show that 100% of the militants that are killed are islamic. Guilt by association. If you are with a militant, then you are a part of that group by default.

Gee, what a surprise. You mean Zoroastrians don't join the Taliban? Who would have thunk.

No wonder Canada is downsizing it's commitment there. With no notice from big brother who'd wanna continue the ungrateful job of running KAF.

"They died fighting an imperialist invader"
That's like saying German soldiers died fighting an imperialist invader in WW2.
