Oh...so if the Japanese stop their scientific research, and start euthanizing whales that would have been killed in research, then everything will be okay...

You would think with all the "whale research" they do these days someone would know.

-Where is the true Sea Sheperd? _Not enough dorama for them? _Not good enough for TV?

Ok, so why don't the japanese whaling vessels just pick them up? Wouldn't this be cheaper than their method now? And much less hassle?

Or are these guys now considered road kill and thus not quality enough?

This might be Japan Today, but this story has nothing at all to do with Japan, it is simply a sad story in the news. Unless of course you can’t stop yourself from having a dig at Japan even when Japan is not involved. Perhaps I should remind people that it has been suggested that military sonar has been blamed in the past for misdirecting whales so maybe we should be pointing the finger of blame at (make your own list given the locality).

They're not hunting pilot whales, so these whales are of no interest to them. On the other hand, where is the SS? Guess they're only worried about the whales the horrible Japanese are hunting, not the whales dying on a beach.
