They were not arming themselves with erasers and planning on attacking the Constitution.
I can't wait to hear the Islamic terrorism fearmonger take on this one. Even if they are converts or born Muslims, I am think it is their mental wiring that is the trouble, and not their religion.

Prison converts.
I remember the good old days when villans simply got villan training in nick.
Good to see the FBI on the ball mind.

likeitis - After the last terror attack, Americans lost many freedoms. It's called the Patriot Act. Civil liberties were trampled on by the authors (republicans) of the legislation. Another attack on American soil would obviously be followed by calls for more restrictions of personal freedom by the far right in Congress.

Glad these bad guys are going to be serving some time, life i hope." Nope, they'll get a light sentence in comparison.

Those freedoms still were not attacked by terrorists. They were attacked by lawmakers, backed by a panicky populace who mistakenly think they can give up freedom to gain security. The only thing to be done was to be more vigilant, from President right on down to John Q. Public.

Well done to President Obama's FBI, great job in catching these terrorist!!
Man I just love it when dumbasses try to play war.....The FBI could have gave them clay and they would have believed it was C-4. Most likely none of these boobs knew the difference.
These boobs need to go to a Supermax prison for a very long long time. Not because they were terrorist but because they are want-a-bes and deserve to get the max sentence. If we send a clear message to all other idiots, then they may think twice about doing the same thing.

Another non-partisan success that looks like it will be corrupted by the zeolots of one side or the other. Can't you child play fair with each other? Anyway, it is good to see the Feds earning their keep and keeping things (relatively) safe. Then again, these rocket scientists sound as though the biggest threat they presented was to themselves. Be that as it may, however, the law is the law and justic shall now be served. All the clowns in this case will probably go down for a long time, and that is a very good thing in my books.

With a name like Laguerre, you can expect he would want war.

Can you name these freedoms you are so certain we have lost?

The religion of peace of New York.
Blowing up a synagogue to protest the war in Afghanistan... makes plenty of sense if you are on a jihad.
There will be much more of this, as radical imams pump out ever more converts in the mainland US.

Sorry, guess you're gonna have to wait. Remember that according to Obama's chief of Homeland Security it's returning veterans and Americans who oppose abortion that pose the gravest threats to national security.

"a plot to detonate a bonb outside a Jewish temple"
No plots to detonate any bombs outside or inside Muslim mosques?

Nothing insults "collective intelligence" like conspiracies do.
Islam is the fastest growing religion not only in US prisons but in Europe's as well.
Radical, militant Islam basically sacralizes many of the most anti-social, criminal urges that convicts and hardened prisoners have. Upon their release, the imam's mosque, part of larger network, then has foot soldiers who won't harm Mohammedans but are able to crudely rationalize all sorts of crimes against "non-believers" as part of their "religious" duty.

It's interesting that they waited for the "mock bombs" to be planted before they arrested the suspects. Does actually planting the explosive make it more of crime then preparing plans and assemebling the explosives.

Bravo Zulu to the F.B.I. in bringing these 4 people to justice.
Yet, years after Sep. 11, there have been zero prosecutions, even throwing torture into the mix.
Seems to me that good old fashioned police work has a better success rate.

and again... "The corporate media and the authorities are having a field day lavishing saturation coverage on the so-called New York “terror plot” in which four men, three of them U.S. citizens, supposedly planned to blow up a Jewish temple and shoot down military planes, feverishly citing it as another example of why we should accept police state measures in major cities and the targeting of American citizens as “domestic terrorists”. The only problem with this premise, mirroring just about every other major terror plot and terror bust that we have ever studied, is that the men were radicalized and provocateured by an FBI informant, who provided the group with the fake weapons that led to their arrest." I rest my case, your honor! But then, media literacy on this forum is, well........

"An official told The Associated Press that three of the men are converts to Islam."..."They stated that they wanted to commit jihad"
If you didn't know this, it just as well could have been four neo-Nazis. It's hard to tell the difference.

So if I'm reading this right, there are no bombs, and they have no missiles. They probably have no way to get either. They have "plans." Translation: two nutcases don't like Jews and don't like America. The FBI does have to pursue this, but from the facts given, it sounds like another situation blown way out of proportion.

Libertas, [ 03:39 AM JST ] you quoted directly from the well-known crank conspiracy site prisonplanet.com .
Why don't you credit the source?

Indeed. Radical nazism and radical islam are joined by a hatred against Jews and democracy. The only difference is that we take one ideology seriously and not the other.
