  adaydream; I beg to differ. A drone spotted the target, and the target was attacked. If there were innocents in the vacinity, we would not have carried out the missile attack.

  We don't kill civilians, we kill those who want to kill us. We are beating these guys inAfghanistan and on the Pakistan border, ithought that was the theater you wanted us to be fighting in. Or does the liberal policy flip flop when it suits?

  The only problem with that argument is that there are no innocent Americans in eye-batting range, only 'Bomb, Bomb, Bomb' military with great technology.

  Those soldiers' mothers should be grateful that the goatherders don't have the same kind of great technology. Maybe it isn't such a good idea to get up Pakistan's nose.

  cleo- you cannot compare the bad guys with our military. Those guys slaughter innocents, trade in drugs to buy weapons and try to disrupt bour nation building.

  So not only are the Taliban increasing their attacks, but purposely providing false information in hopes that the airstrikes will kill civilians. And by doing this, these Islamoterrorists know they can easily dupe first-world socialists like yourself into supporting their war against civilization. Works every time.

  "Americans are not stupid" says a self-proclaimed 'moderate' before saying ALL should be wiped out (hahaha!), and yet they get fooled by 'faulty' intelligence all the time. I don't think Americans in general are stupid at all, but I know that some posters are -- those who believe that bombing the crap out of the innocents of an allied nation in the war on terror is a good thing! Yep, keep going into other nations' backyards and killing children, saying you have every right in the world... but don't play the 'terror' card when people try to bomb you back (ie. Yemen). If they are terrorists, so are you (ie. you both are... as Cleo said more mildly, "And the other side thinks exactly the same thing... Vendetta, ad infinitum." More accurate a comment than any projectile flung at the other side could be).

  My republican posters who believe so strongly that the US doesn't kill civilians. You can tell yourself all you want that we don't kill civilians and children.

  And we use smart bombs that distinquish between killing civilians and terrorists. Smart bombs are that damn smart. < :-)

  adaydream; Grt with the program buddy!! Don`t you remember the Gulf war wahen the movies were taken from bombers of our pinpoint strikes against our enemy. In the Iraq war, did not don Rumsfeld state btaht with our intelligene techniques and superior technology we can cause huge damage with minimal collatoral damage. Why do you think our militry is viewd wit awe by the world.

  We do not target innocents, and 90 civilians did not die in Aghanistan.

  moderateguy2008 go bother someone with no military experience that might agree with your statements.

  I saw those videos, very impressive.

  But, I didn't see any viseo from the beginning of the Iraq war, that sent back images of a spot being bombed and they could stop the missile in flight, if there were civilians. Once it's fired, it's fired and there's no getting it back.

  Go pester someone who might believe your post. Those posters who believe moderateguy2008, send him a post. He's getting antsy to type a rebuttal about something, anything even if he doesn't understand it.

  I believe that you know absolutely nothing about the military or it's weapons systems in the least, except what you imagine.

  I know planty about the militay and our technology buddy. I know the guidlines we follow for missile strikes in hostile areas, and we sure do not target children or weddings.

  I am here as an A,merican with a voice of reason and fairness. Try being unbiased likemyslf, and you will see the truth, not anti US propaganda.

  You are correct on one point. We don't target children or weddings. I totally agree with that statement.

  But we are sending off missiles, mortars shells, rockets and drones that have no human intellegence except for some sargeant 100s of miles away who can't see through walls.

  We are killing civilians, whether we know it when we fire off the missiles or not, we're killing innocent ones in big numbers.

  Since you're so I know planty about the militay and our technology buddy. tell me how they turn a missile away from a target when the images sent back show a child? Tell me how a drone tells the difference between civilians and Al-Quaeda? Tell me how, when celebrants are firing their weapons in the air at a wedding, can distinquish between a wedding and a bunch of Al-Quaeda?

  We have killed many innocents due to bad intellegence, eager troops and plain ignorance. But I'm un-patriotic because I state these truths.
