I think they're rushing the flight training.

I wonder how many US soldiers have died so far during combats there in Afghanistan and Iraq. It seems that America has been cursed by war as America could never stop wars. I think next America's war would be against Iran after Afghanistan. But I don't hope so.

It seems like just yesterday that the US would freak out when 1 soldier died. Now the numbers don't seem to matter. Strange!

I remember in 1975 when all the USMC Harrier pilots were grounded and all sent back to school. They were forcing so many students through school that they were putting pilots into Harrier seats who weren't ready to fly.

Whether this is the case or not, somebody isn't paying attention.

That being said, I'll be glad when this war is over and we bring our troops home. Too many people have needlessly died. < :-)

Sorry, did I miss other articles where helicopters were colliding all the time? I'm sure they've flown thousands of missions over Afghanistan. This one ended in tragedy. Using one example to prove your point and going up against thousands of examples where your point was proven wrong pretty much sums up how silly the arguments are.

The sad fact is that many are still supporting this Afghanistan war that like the war in Iraq, is doing not much else besides grind down the U.S. military and finances (how much do these copters cost?), strengthen the enemy, seriously compromise America's hand in future conflicts/emergencies, and ensure that more and more people die for...what?

There could have been a multiple reasons for why the choppers crashed into each other, it is not wise to immediately say the pilots are dumb.

There could be various reasons, that's for sure. These aren't the first crashes though. I was just making a recollection.

    It is a sad day. < :-)
