The usual winter news, in BC. Lots of mountains, lots of snow, plenty of foolish people.

I wouldn't agree with calling them foolish people. They were enjoying themselves and overlooked the present situation. Not unlike a skydiver....enjoying the fall. More power to them. Live life, love life. Rules and regulations hamper that.

I come from a BC community where news like this happens every year. It's so tragic, especially since a lot of the time, there are warnings about the the Avalanche conditions. I wish people would pay more attention to the weather and the warnings so this like this would be avoided...but the thrill of it will always make it so that news like this is far too frequent.
