Let afghans and afghan languages, run afghan affairs. English ways and english ,just don't help in afghanistan.

Only the dynamic leaders in afghanistan,via motivation and persuasion in afghan languages,can help start up, afghan nation building process.

The Taliban were the ones running the country prior to the invasion and people are afraid of them ruling the country again. If the Taliban rule the country then the last 7 years is a travesty on the Afghans because according to some Afghans the Taliban brutality is far worse today than before.

People will follow a leader who will protect them from their enemy along along with greed and power which leads to corruption.

Until the people have a common goal then they will set their differences aside for the greater good of the country. That's wishful thinking because there are too many tribes with too many history of wanting an eye for an eye.

Such a waste of life and for what? Too many US, UK and other countries' men have died, again for what. Either pull back to the borders and contain them or just leave making sure that they have enough ammunition and let them get on with it then we'll see how long the conman Karzai lasts.

"Americans terrorising ( Afghans ) in ( on ) afghan soil"

Yes, they should be tried for war crimes, made to leave Afghanistan immediately, and the Taliban allowed to return to power, LOL.

People like yourself are only happy when we're at war. While the rest of the country wanes away and pays the cost.

Attacking Afghanistan was in retaliation for the attack on 9/11. It was to punish them for their attacking us, not nation building. But almost 10 years later, we're trying to finish this war, however the republicans are happy as a lark to stay in Afghanistan. Another 100 years is at all possible. < :-)
