Great, now we're going to get the gun control issue thrown into the presidential race.

Using a rifle and a speeding car makes for much more dramatic entertainment compared to the boring knife stabbings that happen in Japan.

Zamora’s mother said she had tried repeatedly to get help for her son, whom she described as “desperately mentally ill.”

“We’re so devastated for the families,” Dennise Zamora told The Associated Press by telephone. “I wish it would have been him or me that was killed. That’s how deeply I feel about it.”

Wow! I have never heard such words out of the mother of the perp.

Yes. Sarah Palin's pro-gun stance is about be questioned.

90mph or 145km/h is not at high speed chase.

The article does not say that was the speed. It says "in excess of". I think I would stop looking at the speedometer about that speed myself. Even if I glanced at it, I doubt I would process the info during a pursuit. But maybe its just my caveman terror of motor vehicles? Those things frighten and confuse me. I don't know how people can drive them. But what I do know is that Zamora, my client, is entitled to several million dollars in compensation from the state. They should have kept him locked up for his own safety.

Sorry then Cirroc, I must have read that on CNN. Heh, here in Europe, 90mph is well below cruising speed.

As any gun happy NRA card carrying American PATRIOT would tell you,"If just one of those people were carrying a gun then this would have never happened".....Wait what was it that I read, one minute this has to be wrong. There were two Police Officers involved in this tragedy?

Well as any Law bidding NRA card carrying member would tell you,"Those Officers most likely were not carrying their guns, yeah thats right. They were unarmed Officers, traffic cops!"

Another example of the insane Gun craze in the US. Too bad, if this guy was not carrying a gun but had a knife then most likely those cops could have stopped this. But now there are 6 dead, too bad and sorry for the lose of life.

BTW this guy had a mental problem but some how got a hold of a weapon or two. Sad sad sad..............Goooooo NRA and the gun loving right...Yeah

Ah yes, every man woman and child should have an AK-47 strapped to their back. You never know when you are out shopping and a tribe of cannibals comes after you.

Keep guns in the hands of law enforcement and out of the hands of the average Tom Dick and Jane...

Ok I dont get that one? Are you talking about pre 1942 and what is the difference between then and now with gun violence in the States?

The US is number 4 in the World behind Thailand in murders by a fire arm. Totals that is and number 8 per 1,000 people murdered. That to me is real sad......

Ban guns now. It's just common sense.

Guns are banned for mentally ill ex-cons. Apparently, he didn't obey the law. How dare him!

Common sense indicates that criminals will ignore bans on guns.
