Have you noticed the amount of day service facilities opening up in Japan? My wife is getting ready to build one in here in Tokyo.

skip: Unlikely it would have the same measure of success in Korea, but definitely something to do in Japan (if you haven't been beaten to it by too many, that is).

I think this lady, while commendable with her... ummm... 'eagerness' to get a license, should perhaps hang up the keys once and for all.

Is it even statistically possible to fail such a test 771 times by answering the questions pseudo-randomly? This approaches the infinite-monkey theorem.

So, if she is eventually allowed to drive, how many accidents will they allow her to have before they take away her license? How many injuries or deaths will be allowable, 772?

The driving test doing its job, apparently. I'm sure she's a nice old lady but she can never be allowed behind a wheel.
