‘‘such incidents will not deter the government from pursuing its policy of dealing with anti-national elements in a resolute manner.’’
resolute manner?? no, India has accepted few casualties every few months.
Without moral support/approval from the USA, India alone can not fight terrorism.
And you'll notice that there is a US/India defense/nuclear treaty/agreement under consideration as we type. But, bombs in Bangalore....Mmmmmm! Isn't that where all the US hi-tech IT jobs have gone?
this is part of the hidden cost of outsourcing, political and social instability. Especially in a country with 5,000 year old social systems, and no plan to change them.
Some posters are trying to divert the topic from terrorist act to social political situation. Kyodo news has avoided reference to two terrorist groups SIMI and LeT, who are blamed for serial blasts.
some14: if the government is not doing anything to relieve the social situation, then its understandable that these terrorists organization will gain more strength. Have you been to India?
I have been to China and the govt. there has done wonders in the last 30 years since the cultural revolution. don't get the same feeling in India.
then its understandable that these terrorists organization will gain more strength.
so that is the cause that applies to terrorists in Iraq, Afghan and elsewhere? Terror attacks (one more 17 blasts in Western city Ahmedabad)
are carried out by Islamic Terror groups like Al Qaeda, Taliban based in Pakistan, LeT based in Bangladesh and several other locals. The situation seems quite alarming and may turn into communal riots and only God knows what could be consequence from hereafter.

Indian's bangalore face 7 blasts by anti-social anti-national elements.
India needs to work harder to reduce unemployment to 6-7 percent levels by role modeling China sucess systems.

rajakumar:
No, by muslim jihadists.
China has its own problem with muslim jihadists. In fact, they have threatened a bombing campaign to call off the Olympics.
