    I really like what I am hearing from President Obama on Afghanistan (well, it's really the only thing I like). Sure, there are a few things about the tone of his speech and the meaningless timeline that I could quibble with. However, with the big troop commitment and NATO actually coming up with upwards 7,000 troops - that is a positive sign. Obama has now nearly doubled the number of American troops in Afghanistan.

    The Iraq war has been going well, now everyone needs to unify and defeat the recent rise in the Afghanistan insurgency. If only Obama could use the words 'lets win' or victory' every now and then ... I quess that's probably too much to ask.
