Young men in Pakistan blowing themselves up to go to paradise, "fighting" against cartoons published in Danish newspapers. (One wonders how many of them could even find Denmark on a map.)

Can one think of a clearer demonstration of the international nature of the islamist doctrine?

Pakistan/afghanistan seem to be building the exclusive forts/walls, with this nonsense. All nations have their walls, but this going to extreme. We may never understand it, unless we have lived in pakistan/afghanistan long time.

China walls and many other national walls globally are slowing being reduced. Isolated Pakistan/afghanistan need more time and a lot of patience from world, to adjust to globalisations/IT, without narrow minded fears.

The points of arguments should be noted, and all foreign nationals must agree to disagree in peace.

Afghanistan/pakistan may the last few, to be globalised, there are many narrow minded fears that need to be gradually reduced and ironed out with time.

Corrections- Afghanistan/pakistan may be some of the last nations ,to be globalised. There are many narrow minded fears that need to be gradually reduced and ironed out with time.

This is the one stablized country that has acquired nuclear weapons. We help them to perpetuate their weapons program by giving them $10Billion.

Dr. Kahn was just interviewed and it was Musharraf who sold nuclear knowledge to Iran and North Korea.

And this is such a safe and stable country. < :-)

daydream...any thoughts about the embassy being bombed? heheh...just kidding. ;)

We're probably going to start seeing a reevaluation of embassy security in Muslim nations if they continue to be a target of Muslim fundies. It's my understanding that the Danish embassy mostly cleared out Danes due to the cartoon row, but that it was considered to be an easy target since it wasn't in a high security area. I'm guessing the next embassy will be quite a bit different and other Danish embassies around the world, which have received threats, will start doing the same. Maybe the future will see high security areas that contain all Western embassies in one location with severely restricted access.

See what drawing a few cartoons will get you.

"Dr. Kahn was just interviewed and it was Musharraf who sold nuclear knowledge to Iran and North Korea." No, you are lying again. He did not state it was Musharraf that sold it. Dr. Kahn said that he was forced to say/lie he sold the knowledge to North Korea and that he would get amnesty, which he didn't.

I think that we need to bring our money home and our support that we're providing others. We put out $10Billion in Pakistan for what? We've gotten a lot of lip service from Pakistan for what? < :-)

Good question, adaydream. What has the US gotten out of the $10 billion that we've given Pakistan?
