9 dead in Texas shootout among rival biker gangs

I still see a lot of the bikers standing in the photo.

That's too bad. If they had killed all of each other off, the world would be slightly safer today.

Most "bikers" are good people. Regular lives, obey laws, respectfull. The HD bikers like the style for the most part. Some of the hardcore biker gangs are the opposite.

What could these people possibly be killing each other over? Is it really worth it?

If it were me and I saw a restaurant with 150-200 bikers, I'd steer clear.

The bikini-clad waitresses at this joint may want to think about investing in bullet proof bikinis, or else see if Hooters is hiring.

But seriously, just consider the scene: hordes of burly bikers + Texas attitude + bikini wearing waitstaff + sleek bikes. Too bad violent morons snapped, otherwise they could have sold tickets to the Mad Max vs. Jabba the Hutt Renaissance Fair.

Gee if only there had been a good guy with a gun present this horrible tragedy would have been avoided.

Every time is see or watch USA TV programs they seemed to be full of violence guns and deaths, and most times when I watch the news, geause what, news from the USA, guns and violence, and they say they don't need to tighten up on the gun laws, WRONG!!! just the other week that cop (allegedly) shot that guy in the back whilst he was walking away, its not a good image for the USA is it?

You ask me, we should just put them all in a field somewhere and let 'em have at it.

They don't need to do that, the gun laws are fine the way they are, IMHO, but every now and then and it's been quite awhile, these gangs get into fights, which is common, but to have this kind of a brutal fight is NOT the typical norm. I'm from California where biker life is the norm and just part of everyday life, most of the guys I met were pretty cool, at the same time, you are nuts if you try and disrespect them, Yes, there are some bikers that are jerks, but a lot of them aren't and I don't think it's fair when people try to demonize and vilify EVERY single biker. If people don't like the image, who cares. Also, you have Hells Angels in pretty much every part of the world, even South Africa.

Well seeing as good guys with guns were already on the scene at the time the incident started and no innocents were killed or wounded.......it would appear that good guys with guns did in fact prevent a massacre of innocent people.......

So, apparently Twin Peaks is a "breastaurant" a la Hooters, and not - as I had hoped - a David Lynch inspired diner.
