Abbas would do well to read the last sentence of this article:

Hamas doesn’t recognize Israel and has denounced the U.S.-backed peace talks as illegitimate.

These are not "settlements", they are Occupied Palestinian Territories, land that UNSC resolutions, countless UN general assembly resolutions, the International Court of Justice, and the entire international community (except Israel, US, and few tiny Pacific Islands) states clearly that it belongs to the Palestinians. Israelis can stay in Israel, but they have no business, or any legal right, to build anything in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, which includes Gaza, West Bank, and East Jerusalem.

And its not just the Palestinians who object to the wall, the International Court of Justice ruled that the wall is illegal and had to be dismantled. But for some "inexplicable reason" western leaders don't care and continue to give the zionist regime massive financial and military aid.

OK, thank you for confirming that Abbas is an intelligent person; but how does this give Israel the right to keep land it stole in 1967 (and continue to take more), which the entire international community says does not belong to Israel?

If Israel wanted peace, it would move back to the pre-1967 borders.

Shouldn't Abbas say "{Palentinians, of course] block Mideast peace deal." At least then he would be correct.

This conflict is not about Jews and Muslims, but many people believe in this absurd lie. It is about foreign colonists stealing property which is not theirs.

Peace for Moslems means the elimination of non-believers or proof of their submission in the form of punishing taxes and defacto second class citizenship. Thanks to sites like Jihad Watch more and more Americans know this.

Abbas is an intelligent person

I fail to see how Abbas supposedly being similar to neo-Nazis as being a sign of intelligence. It seems to me this makes his inability to see the Hamas also as a block as rather even more of a sign of unintelligence. Maybe that is just me.

Sorry, I'm not the one feeling any pain. Awards and intelligence are two completely different things. Personally, if what was posted about Abbas' opinions is true, I think it refects badly on his personal intelligence.
