About 150,000 in HK commemorate Tiananmen massacre

HONG KONG —

About 150,000 candles were lit in a Hong Kong’s Victoria Park on Thursday night to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Tiananmen massacre that killed hundreds, possibly thousands, of students and others in Beijing on June 4, 1989, the organizer said.

The Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China, which organizes the annual march and candlelight vigil, said the turnout was the highest ever.

Their memories will live on. Will never forget the brave guy who stopped a row of tanks.
