Sad news to wake up to. I loved her in Clueless.

    Such a shame. < :-)

Always liked her voice as LuAnne on "King of the Hill".

Anyway, if this turns out to be a drug-related death it is why I long ago chose not to be associated with dope fiends.

Yes. Unbelievable. 32. Clueless was a very good movie. She did it perfectly. There were a lot of California smiles in that movie, but she did the Jersey smirk better than anyone could have. Too bad.

Pretty sad when somebody so young dies of what we believe to be a problem for old people and smokers. Tragic.

I met her while she was in Tokyo for the filming of "Ramen Girl". She was very nice and down to earth. Way too young to go in this way.

Too sad... and only 32. I can't say I was a huge fan of hers, but I always thought she was talented.

I never heard of her, nor her movies, but 32 sounds a bit too young to die from a heart attack. RIP!

When Ol' Dirty Bastard died of 'cardiac arrest', everyone knew what that meant.

Hope that isn't the case here.

When Ol' Dirty Bastard died of 'cardiac arrest', everyone knew what that meant.

I had the same thoughts, but I don't wish to speak ill of the dead...so let's hope it was something that couldn't be helped.

Just watched Brittany Murphy on DVD in "Ramen Girl" - she did a credible job. Convincingly played a spunky survivor-type young woman who dreams of becoming a ramen chef. What a tragedy for her family and friends, especially during the holidays. Sad...

I'm sure her most recent bout with starvation for the Twiggy look didn't help her heart much.

Tragic loss, she was really cute in Ramen Girl !

I don't know if that's the case here but it is exactly what killed Karen Carpenter. A different tragedy. Would hate to see it repeated but as long as we promote this image of women as toothpicks there are bound to be health problems.

And men will just start liking whatever we promote right? Men don't have innate tastes and even if they did, women are going to somehow not notice, right? I think the larger problem is female self-esteem. And that is something else that people also think they can instill while completely ignoring human nature. If you don't know what I am talking about, think Freud.

In some recent pics she looked terrible, in my opinion.

Perhaps the coroner's report will find something else.

All in all, this is all a terrible shame.
