When, Oh When will people learn? NOBODY invades Afghanistan and gets to keep it! Ask Genghis himself!

Put the troops on the ground in Afghanistan like we need.
The troops in Afghanistan have suffered because they were never given the troops because of a war of choice was started and troops were pulled out of Afghanistan and put in Iraq.
Future troops that Afghanistan really needed were sent to Iraq for over 5 years.
Bring the troops out of Iraq. < :-)

I'm sorry to hear about the French soldiers. I'm sorry to hear about any soldier that dies, period. < :-)

NATO troops in Afghanistan are not there to 'keep' it. Get your facts right. Your idea of the whole thing is not fact. rather fiction.

I think NATO is going to learn the same lesson the Russians learned. The only way you can "keep" Afghanistan is to stay in Afghanistan and keep the Taliban in the hills. The same goes for most insurgencies.

BTW, why are any foreign troops in Afghanistan? People should have learned by now Afghanistan had nothing to do with 911. Invade a country, expect to die! Any soldier that is willing to die for a cause should put a minimum of effort to understand that cause.

because afganistan had training camps for the terrorists who were involved in F0911. don't you read the news or are you just trying to incite?

Oh, I though the only terrorist training camp was the flight school in Florida used by the terrorists to learn to fly. Hope the troops land there soon too.

Saudi- and Yemen-born jihadis (just 2 examples) don't qualify as foreign troops?
Under the Taliban the nation of Afghanistan was ruled by a 6-man council in Kabul.
Not one Afghani among them.

Which terrorists were those? Most people should know by now that Iraq and Afghanistan had nothing to do with 911 and that Bush et al wanted to invade both countries long before 911. Its unfortunate that these soldiers died. But these soldiers put so much effort training for years and they are willing to risk their lives for they likely believe to be a good cause, but they most likely never put a decent effort to learn about the true situation. That is unfortunate. I can almost understand why the average Joe or Dano would not try to learn about this stuff and simply rely on the "news", but I just do understand why these soldiers don't make that little effort.

But was anyone from that 6-man council in Kabul involved in 911?
Anyway, now the country is lead by someone who apparently worked as a consultant for an oil company while they were considering building a pipeline in that country.

Imagine that, one of the poorest and most backward nations on earth allowing a successful, worldly businessman with ties to the booming petroleum business to help them into the 21st century.
And who do you think you are kidding? We all know who sabiwabi thinks pulled off 9-11.

Yes, and some (six?) of those "terrorists", who allegedly hijacked those planes, are still alive today!!! I think at least one of them is an airline pilot.

Here is a video of McCain discussing the situation in Afghanistan. Interesting stuff: http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=qlHwCWo81Hc

"US would then come with evidence."
Heh, that could be the problem there, bud.

sabiwabi - **Most people should know by now that Iraq and Afghanistan had nothing to do with 911 **
You are correct that Iraq had nothing to do with the attack on the WTC. But Afghanistan coddled and allowed the Taliban to train and grow. Afghanistan knew that the Taliban was a terrorist group. < :-)

It must be difficult to know that you pieced together one of the greatest conspiracy theories the world has even known from your computer, yet have the world still completely ignore you. What's that like? It would drive me absolutely mad.

9/11 Conspiracy Theories 'Ridiculous,' Al Qaeda Says

The Taliban was not behind 911, most of the world knows that. I assume you meant Al Qaeda, not the Taliban. But even Al Qaeda, the only evidence linking them with 911 is one poor-quality video of a guy dressed up like Osama.

Let's just say the most widely believed conspiracy theory is the official story ;)

Why just say it when you can prove it - and silence the shrieking in your head?
Or maybe you can't...
