Karzai is simply casting his 'yes' vote in support of US allegations/campaign against Pakistan/ISI involvement in terrorism.

He's wising up to Pakistan.

lostrune2: Not really. If Pakistan threatened him or promised him money and aid tomorrow he'd threaten the US the next day. As it is, he cannot deal with the Taliban so he's backing the current US sentiment towards Pakistan. The man can do nothing on his own, and tries to play both sides to his advantage.

smithinjapan -- absolutely. Karzai has no real plan or strategy other than to stay in office as long as he can to enrich himself and his family/friends off the U.S. largesse. He's as big a snake and double-dealer as the ISI guys are.
