Meanwhile, 4 more American troops were killed in ungrateful Afghanistan Monday.

Since the insurgents aren't an organized military force of a legitimate government they are all technically "civilians". If they are armed and firing on NATO forces they are legitimate targets! Those supporting them should be considered hostile and 1500 hostiles in a single location is known as a "target rich environment"

I am not in support of remaining in Afghanistan, but any Republican candidate would have US forces there as well.

Obama is continuing the good work of Bush, pushing the world toward Armageddon.

    Is Obama a fundamentalist too?

    Serrano,

"4 more American troops were killed in ungrateful Afghanistan Monday." I distintly dont remember Afghan's asking for the US to invade them and l certainly dont remember them asking the US to go around killing civilians (over 15000 so far). Maybe if the US actually looked at the history of this place (Russia, Britian and others) have all tried to tame this country with no success. This is an unwinable war and the bodies will just keep piling up.

As for the women with guns, well most people in the country have weapons. Someone comes bursting into your house in the middle of the night what are you going to do. Grab your gun of course.
