There is actually a lot of similarities between Mein Kampf (My Struggle) and the political thinking in the USA today. For example; the German thinking of that time was to blame the Jews in order to unite the rest of the population and improve the economy. Move it out of a deep recession.
Very similar to the USA's attitude towards the Middle East. Find an enemy and unite the people against them.
I'm hoping someone more moderate is elected in Iran this summer, like Khatami, who has proven he can deal reasonably with folks outside their borders. But, the good President, when he says Israel "used the Holocaust as a “pretext” for aggression against Palestinians," is 100 per cent correct. Time to end the unaccountability of "israel's" victimhood. If they want to be accepted among civilized nations, then they have to behave like civilized nations.
Islamic tyrants and Caliph-wannabes like Ahmadhinejhad constantly invoke the UN but still steadfastly refuse - as even 'moderate' Mohammedan nations do - to ratify or even recognize the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

And one "nation" consistently ignores the countless UN resolutions against it or pressures the US to veto such resolutions. And this same "nation" raises hell when someone sheds some light on these abuses!
What people continue to ignore are Ahmadinejad's two main points regarding the holocaust:
Why can't people freely research and discuss the holocaust? This has been for decades prevented in the West by laws. I am quite skeptic of research where the conclusion is dictated by law.
Why must the Palestinians pay for the alleged holocaust?
These are valid points he is making, and that is why the controlled media prefers to focus on the boycotting, the walking out, the nose-throwing clowns, and the alleged holocaust denial.
Why can't people freely research and discuss the holocaust? "
Well, I actually am open to talking about it, but it does depend on the speaker, doesn't it?
But, yes, you should be allowed to talk about it, but not at such an event. how can you claim Israel to be racist when they are without a doubt multi-ethnic, multi-religious, and multi-lingual?
Well, certainly one aspect of the holocaust that isn't discussed enough is the role of the Muslims. Having a better understanding of this would certainly shed light on Ahmedinejad's speech, since Muslim Arab leaders were instrumental in helping expedite the extermination of the Jews in Nazi Germany. And they continue their quest to this day. People definitely need to learn more about this and the truth about Islam.
“Why can't people freely research and discuss the holocaust?”
They can & do freely research & discuss the holocaust; there are no laws against doing such. What there are laws against preaching bigoted nonsense that has no foundation in reality. For my own part I do not need to research what happened because I grew up living with the children of the holocaust, I have said before that I went to school with them & went their homes & knew their parents, the people that had survived those camps you are so keen to refute. I have not hidden who & what I am, I am not Jewish, but because my family came to London during WW2 they became part of the closed out group of foreigners that helped each other when the British were still incredibly racist.
Ahmadinejad is neither a fool nor a monster; he is a politician playing to the Islamic audience. He will say whatever he feels will get him where he wants to go know that ignorant fools will believe his rubbish because they will convince themselves into believing what they WANT to believe. It’s propaganda pure & simple. That isn’t to say that there is no truth in anything that is said, of course there is, all propaganda is made up of elements of truth & lies, that’s how it works. For example you have told us all often enough that the Palestinians were driven from their homes. No they were not, they were ordered to leave by their own leadership or be classed as traitors. 600,000 left what was then the new state of Israel (1948). At the same time 800,000 Jews were driven out of the surrounding Arab states by the angry defeated locals. These were not European Jews, these were Jews that had lived in peace in Arab countries for many generations & they had their land stolen from them by Arabs.
They can & do freely research & discuss the holocaust; there are no laws against doing such.
You are dead wrong. Most European countries have laws against it, ask Germar Rudolf. The US and Canada do not have the same laws (yet) but they find ways to punish those who express doubt. For example, years ago, the manager of a major funeral parlor who was fired after he spoke about how the cremation rates claimed in the holocaust story are impossible, and very much faster than in modern crematoria.
For example you have told us all often enough that the Palestinians were driven from their homes. No they were not,...
Again, you are dead wrong, plain and simple.

The only thing Ahmadinejad did wrong this time was to say anything at all.

Ahmadinejad has shown why Mein Kampf is a bestseller in the Muslim world. The Nazi-Islam Alliance continues.

Not for nothing, but I thought you out of anyone here would be more supportive to a country that ignored the UN

Helter is right. As usual, we have one side here that can provide links, photos, vids, interviews and historical references.

The other side just comes sputtering denial or snark.

The UN got him to drop the part about holocaust denial? Well....I guess the UN doesn't support free speech, ne? ;)
