I would like to personally thank all my fellow Americans who supported the invasion of Iraq for making us such friends in the world.
So what is your solution now? CIA organized assassination? Or do you think al-Sadr will just wither away if left alone since most Iraqis love us?

Whats really interesting is in spite of the fact the US should not have invaded Iraq, what was mr. al-Sadr doing to build a rebellion against Hussein when he was still in power? hears the wind blowing on a barren field

We could just hope that Iraq returns to a dictatorship where a man like that would be killed along with his family and supporters. I believe that was the solution supported by the pro-Saddam crowd.

Buddy, al-sadr did live in Saddam's Iraq. It was the "liberation" that let him out of his box, along with the daily carnage the media no longer bothers to report on.
In fact, Moqtada's recent sejour in Iran was to avoid assasination by American forces. As one American official put it, "we gave 'em democracy only they voted for a whole lot of people we don't like".
People were against the invasion for many reasons but I've yet to see a "pro-Saddam crowd". That point of view is up their with sarah Palin's "Death Panels".
