WTF? How frikken selfish is that? I hope she's haunted by them for the rest of her life. And may she get what she deserves in prison.

Wonder if she'll get released on compassionate grounds.

And on what grounds ? She knew what she was doing.

A tragedy for sure. Sad to see that this crime gets only three to four posts when the mother arrested over dead toddlers gets one hundred.
RIP little ones.

Rip wee ones.
As for lack of responses. Crimes like that don't happen outside Japan(according to some) and no japan bashing can happen.

Wouldn't it be best to hear all the facts first?

"Scottish police on Friday charged the American mother of three children who were found dead in an Edinburgh town house with their murder."
Now my spelling's bad, but somethings amiss in that paragraph mod....

I checked out a local newspaper site. This guy went to a private high school in Denver and then became a violin player/instructor and somehow worked up to being an oil executive in 20 years.
It is too bad about his wife and kids, but in terms of grabbing a brass ring, I guess this guy did ok considering he started out playing the violin. Maybe that was part of it.
From what I understand about the weather in Edinburgh, his wife might have gone crazy from not seeing the sun for a year or two.
Crazy stuff.

I know from the experience of family members that the life of an ex-pat oil executive's wife can be pretty mentally unhealthy if the woman is not cut out for the lifestyle. Don't know if that was a factor here, but maybe contributed.
