Really? By who's estimate? What's that? 1 in 7?

That many do probably have televisions these days, but do enough people even live in countries that would be broadcasting this pagent?

including/excluding Japanese woman? why no mention after so much (unwanted) publicity for couple of weeks?

How many of the contestants had antenna and/or tentacles? How many were non-carbon-based lifeforms?

I think universe is an exaggeration. Miss Earth would do.

Agree completely, although a slight change to Ms. Universal might suffice. Anyway, if Miss Universe seems odd, how about Miss Universe Japan? :)

But think how that would be pronounced in Japanese. People would get confused with "Rear of the Year"!

Its a sick and twisted display created for the need of some people to control beautiful women and dupe us all into believing there is even one ounce of real judging taking place to boost their own delusions of grandeur. Its full of lies and bullcrap and it hardly ends at the viewer estimates.

These women are not the most beautiful, nor even a mix of that and the best able to give a useless and purely PC answer to a question. They are just the ones who signed up for the abuse.
