Ha..bachi. After historically trying to invade islam under the cloak of christianity - the boomerang effect - islam comes to the UK. Stirred up a major hornet's nest!

These guys just prove that Islam is not at all the problem -- lunatics are. It doesn't matter what religion you belong to, if any; what matters is how you act on your beliefs.

Obviously the UK is full of right-wing nutters. It's sad that a country that was once so great has fallen so far. I have many British friends and sometimes they tell me how embarrassed they are to be British.

I think Super, as one of you British friends :-*, that many Brits are embarassed especially by the football shirt clad chavs, usually in foreign countries, especially Spain.

I'm neither proud to be Brit nor embarassed, I was just born there. Patriotism just doesn't make sense to me.

Regarding the article, I really can't determine at what point Islam became a pain in the ass in the UK. I grew up near Bradford and some of the best raves I went to were in Leeds which is next-door. I met loads of young Pakistani sons of sons of immigrants back in the 90's and there was never a problem.
