It's like that movie the Interpreter. The US would not look good if protestors threw an egg onto the Chinese President. Yeah I hate having road blocks etc myself. I wish they can find some deserted island to do these types of conventions on instead.

Yuri- The people that live in Honolulu fill like we live in prison, half the major roads are shut down. Security is so incredibly tight that we are not allowed to work. They told us 1 thing and we supported it, but at the last minute they change plans without telling us, and shut down a lot of business. I had to shut down my bike shop because it takes 3 hrs to get to it. It is only anti-communist chinese protesters here.

They shut down the beach for everyone, surfing is what hawaii is most famous for. As for the hospitality Obama, noda, hu, etc thank you for showing up, please now leave immediately and do not come back.

If I was stupid enough to be there in Hawaii now, I would AVOID OAHU, why waste my time there on OAHU with all the BS of security for APEC when MAUI, the big Island etc..are nicer, cleaner, quieter and just as good surfing?? Hop on on a small plane and enjoy da odder islands man!

Yuri- the US gov doesn't care, we have the same problem with the bases here as well. Theirs no compensation, its just take care of the security detail.
