Another award for the United States.

Damn, if we didn't cut taxes so deep for the ultra rich, then we might be able to have more cops and social agencies to help reduce all these violent crimes.

    3, 2, 1... < :-)

Why don't them Americans ban guns , like what bwe have done in Britain? I wouldn't let my son Damien out if guns was widespread, knives are bad enough, not guns.

I though America was rich, so they don't ahve to do all the robberies and stuff.

"More people are killed worldwide in violent crimes every year than in wars." This by itself is a shocking statement. I think it's fair to say that we, humans, are a profoundly sick species. As members of a group responsible for the violent deaths of more than 100 million of our sisters and brothers over the past 100 years or so, I can only conclude that we are very sick indeed.

American citizens need guns to protect themselves from the savages who commit all of these crimes. Unlike Brazil, Columbia, Guatemala, etc., the Americans do not have death squads to deal with the brazen criminal element.

the report said that Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Jamaica and South Africa are among the countries with the highest numbers of recorded violent crimes in the world.

    Legacy of colonialism. It's obvious.

[More people are killed worldwide in violent crimes every year than in wars,]. Now that is hard to believe after years of hard JT facts from posters telling us of the 5,000,000 Iraqi babies that died in the bombing campaign of that country which was bombarded with more bombs than used in all of WWII. This is pure fabrication. War is king.

Let me get this straight... its based on the amount of Income a person would make if they stayed alive.. Well America should be in the front since they pay a hell of allot more.. If your making 1 dollar a day in Columbia or your making 100k a year it would take allot of dollar a day guys to equal one 100k a year guy... Thats why they dont list how many in each country...]

    3-2-1.........

    "Legacy of colonialism. It's obvious."

The report however failed to mention Iraq, the place where the largest amount of armed killings occured, because everybody that tried to collate the numbers were decapitated, and their families kidnapped and tortured.

Heh, but nice point about colonialism. You smart old friend.
