Whoops. Thanks for pointing that out. I thought Palin would have been offering her support at Fort Hood. Nevermind...

I think Palin is too young to be president. After the Obama debacle (I predict that by autumn of next year he is toxic to his own party) Americans will go back to the historical precedent of choosing a proven leader - former governor or major metropolis mayor or member of Congress with a record of real achievement and bipartisan appeal.

    Charisma is not enough.

Youth and relative good looks are not enough.

    Ghostwritten books are not enough.

But the more that people come here with nothing but blind, visceral hatred for this woman, (especially those who profess to be progressive and all about tolerance, inclusion, equal rights ) the more I find myself hoping she makes a run in 2012.

What're a few more broken rules, laws, or regulations when it comes to that bizarre clique of Bush/Palin worshippers and an opportunity to score political points?

The Army is correct is shutting this off to media. If Palin supporters want to make a political message, there are countless other places and ways that don't involve treason.

Obama's approval rating has hit a new low of 46%.

george bush never saw a protester. The Secret Service put them in fenced areas up to 5 miles away.

Come on aday. Everyone knows this is incorrect. While typically the secret service does screen protesters, saying he never saw one is way over the mark. If you want a specific examples how about the shoe thrower for one. Then there was Sheehan and her camp by the Ranch, which Bush drove by all the time. No, he saw protesters, he heard them, on many occasions as they interrupted his speeches before being tossed out for heckling. Clinton too had his share of protesters. In fact every President has dealt with those who disagreed with his policies. Yes, even Obama.

This is always going to be a concern when the president is a Liberal Democrat.

That is because those military people who are not hardline conservatives are more attuned to the ideal of respect for a commander-in-chief, regardless of political philosophy. It's a concern because many conservatives believe that America belongs to them exclusively and that any liberal in the White House is seen as an illegitimate interloper, regardless of what the American electorate has decided.

That is why it is a concern. That, and breeding.

I'll bet Obama's worried that Palin is going to be a huge hit at Fort Bragg.

"Obama's approval rating has hit a new low of 46%"

The only approval rating that counts is the one that took place on Nov 8th, or so you hardcore bushiites were telling us way back when.

Wake me up when he's in the 20% range like your dear leader young George was....

Right, right, right. You are on quite a roll there, son.

America knows it is Palin's preacher and spiritual 'mentor', not Obama's, who shrieks 'G-d damn America' from the pulpit.
