Speechless.

Send em to Japan. They'd make great pets. I wanna train one to do my dishes and tax returns.

And how does something like this happen now? If 10 mil could survive eons ago, how is it that 100,000 is too many in today's Oz?

comparing whales to Koalas LMFAO, whales have never been and will never be over populating the oceans, but hey they eat all the fish in the Oceans so Japan cant catch as many. good enough reason to cull them I guess

As an Australian citizen I am disgusted by this, with such small numbers in the wild, everything should be done to preserve the species. Seriously, how hard would it have been to bring eucalyptus leaves down to the community from other areas of Australia. This is gross negligence on the part of the authorities, and they should be ashamed of themselves!

In agreement with Jalapeno. They should have sent them to Japan and set up a petting zoo or something.

About doing tax returns? No, that would be cruel.

Where's Sea Shepherd to ram the Koala murderers?

Koala's cost around $4,000 US.

7000 koalas could bring over 2 million dollars in revenue.

I don't get it.
