China opposes a forced political resolution for Syria Those words were backed by force from both Russia and China, certain consequences will happen if ignored! Take it seriously! Assad is still the boss in Syria!

Syria is the business of the Syrian people, not Saudi Arabia, nor Turkey nor Hillary Clinton.

Shouldn't Kofi Annan be in jail anyways because of his involvement in the Oil for Food scandal?

Bashar Hafez al-Assad Fate? The people want him to step down. How about,... step down? Other wise you might end up like a few other leaders we all know, and remember. RIP or RIH ( rot in hell ) You choose!...the other leaders chose unwisely...

Assad is walking a really fine line with Turkey. The Turks can get a way with a lot because they are a NATO country so if Assad was smart he'd just back off of them altogether but as the conflict goes on its becoming increasingly clear how unhinged the Syrian regime has become. Even if it did violate their airspace shooting down a Turkish plane was a horrible idea.

China opposes a forced political resolution for Syria Those words were backed by force from both Russia and China, certain consequences will happen if ignored!

Thats hilarious. Russia has been backpedaling as quickly as it can without looking like an utter fool. There aren't even any serious military proposals for Russia to be against. And what would these 'certain consequences' be anyway? Would Russia really punish its European customers for a doomed Syrian regime? Would China really do anything that could alienate the US, its largest consumer, when China's own economy is slowing? Not going to happen.

Russian and China wouldn't lift a finger if NATO went in but there is no political will to get into Syria.

Syria is the business of the Syrian people, not Saudi Arabia, nor Turkey nor Hillary Clinton.

Syria made it Turkey's problem when they civil war forced thousands of Syrian refugees into Turkey's boarders. So yes, it has become a regional problem that a number of countries have a vested interest in. Assads crackdown has further destabilized the region and everybody is feeling the pain now and that means it is a valid concern of everbody involved in the region.

Looks like the West is putting on the finishing touches. Should be pretty cool.

    Should be pretty cool.

    Disgusting

I wonder how the family members of those that have died and will die in this mess feel about your comments.

    There's nothing "cool" about war.

I don't think so. What IS disgusting is that you seem to always be a mouthpiece for this regime and you constantly give excuses to a regime that:

    A) you know personally nothing about ( or do you) and make it sound like as if your opinions are 100% fact based.

    B) never want to acknowledge or admit that Assad is reponsible for this mayhem, but you give him 100% benefit of a doubt as if he is totally incapable of ANY wrongdoing.

    Now, that's not cool!

If this agreement is to be fair then any and all rebels who have any connection to the violence should also be barred from the political process. That should include commanders and the leaders who condoned the bombings and supported the tactic of fighting in civilian areas.

If this agreement is to be fair then it's probably nothing you would support...heh.

I wonder how the family members of those that have died and will die in this mess feel about your comments.

Is there something you'd like to help me understand?

they remained at odds over what part President Bashar al-Assad might play in the process.

No doubt there will be an incident similar to the one in Libya whereby he gets delivered into the rebels hands.....
