Anti-US rhetoric might bring on just what you fear most, Julian. Or like Brer Rabbit do you actually need this indictment to strengthen your case in Ecuador?

Rail against the US, Australia, and Sweden then take refuge in the embassy of a country with a rather unpleasant human rights record and a less than sterling treatment of its journalists, nice.

@Skrok, I think this guy does not look at all 50, but more like almost 70?? What's up with all that grey hair! Anyway, I guess long long ago, this dude had a good idea, kind of like Don Quixote going up against them nasty wind mills, but in this case, them nasty wind mills were the US military, NATO etc..so Ecuador is going to save him?? Maybe he got confused with Cuba?? Or did he also leak plenty of nasty info about Castro and his so called socialist paradise for all of humanity??

Who's Assange? (just joking. )
Assange is under the impression that laws do not apply to him. Swedish law, British law, or Australian law. Now he's gone to ground in the Ecuadorian embassy. His "claim" is that the U.S. is after him. Unfortunately for what's-his-name, the U.S. hasn't issued any warrants for him. There's no proof that the U.S. is after what's-his-name, only what's-his-names fantasy that's he more than a rapist and bail jumper.
There are two women in Sweden who are demanding their day in court.
The British are now going to arrest him because he breached his bail conditions.
His celebrity supporters have now lost their £200,000 ($315,000, 250,000 euros). Will what's-his-name pay them back?
