“When Donald Trump says he has your back, you better watch out,” Kaine said, with Clinton sitting at his side nodding. “He leaves a trail of broken promises and wrecked lives wherever he goes. We can’t afford to let him do the same thing to our country.” - article

Well documented and under the gun on fraud charges in Federal Court at California and New York State, Trump's appeal to the hate filled and prejudiced will likely become the running joke about Trump for years to come. Along with destruction of his own brand name.

With Trump as an adversary, there's little the Democrats need do except put his foolish and deceptive assaults on an endless loop. There sure are enough of them to fill time from now to November 8th.

How refreshing. Clinton chose a friend, a confidante, a true partner in leadership. A guy who speaks Spanish, worked for charities in Central America, has a son in the Marines and a wife in education. They are close - not phony - and can govern together like Biden and Obama. Hillary spent a few minutes speaking ABOUT HER PICK (not about herself)...then moved on to give the stage to Kaine - while remaining there, listening attentively and in the end, they left hand in hand. Beautiful!

Kaine is a great pick. He has been known as Pope Francis in Washington, a very caring man.

I am looking forward to working hard for Clinton/Kaine team in Colorado. We will in November! Let's go to win big!!

Pope Francis?! Caring and creating jobs are two entirely different things. Clinton is going to need all the help she can get with her monstrous untrustworthy polls-ouch! But even if she doesn't win, she's still accumulated a giant nest egg, so she'll be ok and can spend time with the grandkids.

Kaine picked the VA Tech shooting scenario to push his & HRC gun control agenda. Why didn't he choose Orland, FL?? Or San Bern. Because "religion" was involved?

See. You can see right through the pc. Rather, just attack some loner, reject Korean guy who was able to get a gun. How convenient for Kaine.

Btw, HRC must really-really want the Hispanic vote. She went out of her way to find this Spanish speaking leprechaun.

Heh, an after 8 p.m. Friday night twitter roll-out instead of a full blown meet the media gathering hours earlier – how embarrassing for Kaine!

Considering Kaine beat Ed Gillespie in the midterms by less than 1 percent shows how little effect this will have on shoring up Mrs. Bill Clinton's ticket. Socialist Bernie would have been a far better choice for her to rally the far-left rabble. Instead, the Bernatistas will have to decide if they really want to support a ticket that includes another bought-and-paid for status quo (former chair of the DNC-ISIS) politician in an anti-establishment election cycle.

What's more, voters in Fla. are coming to realize that Mrs. Clinton's anti-police and is coming after their guns. That doesn’t play well in this part of the country, and it’s going to cost her. Like Texas, Florida is a Southern state at heart. . . .

Clinton emails very bad,,why no jail time

But in a nod to party liberals, the Clinton campaign said Kaine will not support the still pending final version of the 12-nation Trans Pacific Partnership. Kaine’s Senate spokeswoman confirmed on Saturday his opposition to the pact.

What's the point of this? If there's a tie in the senate do you really believe Kaine is going to not vote Clintons way, which will be to pass the TPP? Smells like the big trick, well...little trick since the Hillary fans believe whatever she says, and now the campaign can safely get those Bernout votes they so desperately need by staying on the anti TPP train. Hilarious.

By the way, thought I would come over here and post on this article since the anti Hillary posters can speak their minds without throwing childish insults around like the anti trumpeters. Go to the Trump articles, and I can now imagine what it must have been like for those Vietnam vets walking off the planes and getting spat on and cursed at.

This is the internet. People are using words. The analogy to Vietnam vets getting spit on makes no sense.

Can you believe some JT posters say people who disagree with them belong in psyche wards, or remind them of scenes from One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, or call people they disagree with pimps and other names? But that's OK? These posters don't actually spit on people, but they themselves do throw childish insults around. And many of these people calling others names follow whack jobs like Alex Jones. http://www.infowars.com

Kaine picked the VA Tech shooting scenario to push his & HRC gun control agenda.

(Psst - Wc - Kaine is a former governor and current senator from Virginia. It kinda makes sense that he'd speak for the people who elected him. Also, the flesh of gunshot victims is equally yielding regardless of ideology.)

Some of you may want to climb all over Clinton, but look what she tried to do during her husband's tenure. She put together a health plan. Republicans fought against it, (what else is new) but they said they would over an alternative plan. What plan? Follow voting records if you want o figure out a candidate. And always follow the money.

"Attacking Trump"

Well, Kaine's new to the game, we have to forgive him for not yet realizing that when you attack Trump, he just gets bigger and stronger. Hillary, on the other hand is a lost cause, she never learns.

"Kaine said, with Clinton sitting at his side nodding."

Yeah, she was nodding a lot during Sanders' speech mistakingly endorsing her, lol..

(Psst - Wc - Kaine is a former governor and current senator from Virginia. He's not exactly new to the game. Hillary has survived the worst the right could throw at her since she was the wife of an Arkansas governor in the 1980s. It's the Republicans who never learn.)

Laguna -

Pssst - by picking Kaine, Hillary pissed off the Bernie supporters she so desperately needs to beat Trump. She is toast, and justice will eventually prevail and she will go to prison.

Serrano, funny how Trump supporters always expect he'll continue to defy gravity while Hillary is a lead balloon. Trump's VP pick shares not only very few of his opinions but also has an opposite persona - and this is while Trump has said he'll allow his VP substantial ability to govern - so which are you voting for? Or don't you care? Kaine and Clinton share similar philosophies and personalities. The far left might not be thrilled, but considering their alternative, they will come around.

And please let's stop with this "Hillary prison" thing - though my guess is you'll keep it up through 2020 - or 2024. Let me guess: The FBI and Justice Department have both been fully infiltrated by Clinton operatives.

Unlike former governors, he has mayor experience. He gets supports of National municipal organization members who answer -I can't say officially but I think Kasich is better than Trump's choice.. Hillary's strategy will work.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

toshiko, National municipal organization members work for the government, so it's not at all surprising that they would back the party which promises to expand the size of government. It's called voting for your own narrow self-interest.

He promises amnesty in the first 100 days......the already poor economy would not accept that well.

Ask those of the class action suit against Trump University, whose motto should have been "Prepare to get schooled, suckers."

And what does Trump do? He attacks the integrity of the presiding judge in the case on the basis of that judge's family background. It's amazing how low the GOP has fallen: just a few years ago a promising candidate (Allen) was eliminated on the basis of a very obscure ethnic slur. Trump's attack on the judge is excused and even applauded by some.

I am looking forward to Donald's trying to ape and mock Kaine's fluency in Spanish. I wasn't sure about Kaine, but after hearing him speak yesterday, I think the Democrats have made a great choice.

Meanwhile....the Chairperson of the Democratic Party....is BANNED from speaking...at her own party's convention??

Uh-huh. Everything's going smoothly! Sure, sure, thousands of Bernie's supporters warned Hillary NOT to pick this very person as her running mate, and sure, 1,890 of them will be delegates ON the convention floor...but hey, Happy Days Are Here Again? Right? LOL!

Sure, sure, thousands of Bernie's supporters warned Hillary NOT to pick this very person as her running mate...

And what does Sanders say? "Kaine is 100 times better than Donald Trump." While not his preferred choice, Sanders is in fact supporting the choice.

But your post is rather two-faced, BN, that you say this:

Meanwhile....the Chairperson of the Democratic Party....is BANNED from speaking..

You seem to take Sanders' side (a false position) above and then fail to mention that one of the main reasons that Wasserman-Shultz won't be presiding over the convention is because of the scandal of her staff's attempts to undermine the Sanders campaign. She's on her way out.

Happy Days Are Here Again? Right?

After the Doom and Gloom of the RNC, the cheerfulness and energy of Kaine are a welcome relief! A breath of fresh air to clear away the sulfur.

Ding dong the whitch has fled the witch has fled this week!

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is gone! Unfortunately another way out in left field replacement will step up.

Honesty, fairness and integrity .......not part of the DNC.

@Shawp I was writing of Our local Gop municipal officials. Because Harry Reid will be retiring they are supporting former GOP congressman who is always popular but not Dem candidate to whom Sanders gave 400.000 $ and so they have guilty conscious for voting Hillary.
