Libertas,
Ummm...Mr. Folsom is Mr. Zazi's attorney. Is this the first time for you to see a defendant being defended by his attorney. Congratulations! Anyway, so far, the only booga booga seems to be coming from you.

Doesn't matter who said this. The FACT is they found nothing. Talk about jumping to conclusions.

Umm...that is certainly not the 'fact'...it is an opinion of a defense attorney. Do you understand the difference between fact and opinion?
As I pointed out to you on another related discussion: the accused is alledged to have used stolen credit cards to buy ingredients and even researched bomb making on the internet. He even (let me help you, from the article above)'tried to contact an unidentified associate “seeking to correct mixtures of ingredients to make explosives.” “Zazi repeatedly emphasized in the communications that he needed the answers right away,” the papers said. “Each communication” was “more urgent than the last.”'
This was, you know, after being trained in bomb making.
So, yeah, you might want to stop 'jumping to conclusions' so quickly, even if they meet with your standard conspiracy theory standards. Why not wait and see what a trial where the defense attorney and the prosecutor both air their sides reveals before you jump to say it is booga booga?

Presumably the defence has had this information shared with it by the prosecutors, as required by law? Either somebody is lying, they found nothing or the process is flawed and invalid. Which is it? And one would have to be forgiven for Booga Booga as it's the mainstay of US news these days, you know, to hide all the other problems and failures to assume personal and collective responsibility. Sit back, take a long look at the anesthetizing media diet of the average semi-literate Joe sixpack. As bad as McFood. But of course, it's other people far away in other countries "who hate us because we are free" that are to blame. These are the people who are trying to blow us up in New York again.

Is this your first exposure to an arrest and announcements by lawyers on both sides? I doubt it is so why act as though it is. A defense lawyer defends and a prosecutor prosecutes. So far, there is no way to tell on which side the truth balances. Yet, you have already found the man innocent. I guess we don't need a trial after all. Maybe you can send a bill to the US government and get paid for your expertise.
Meh, if you think booga booga is bad, it would be best to stop doing it yourself first. In addition, there's plenty of talk of the problems and failures in the US. As to your discussion personal and collective responsibility, in terms of this specific case, I am sorry to say you have lost me in it in addition to in the pat talking points you added to the end of your post which have absolutely nothing to do with this article or our discussion...

"No evidence of bomb-making by suspect"
I suspect there is also no evidence that he was up to any good whatsoever.

"I suspect there is also no evidence that he was up to any good whatsoever."
Quite probably true. I'm waiting in earnest to see what evidence they found but I can undersatand the sentiment that the media is making this scarier than it was. If he was in NYC on the 10th, and they haven't nabbed him with a bomb ready to go, then methinks it could be booga booga time......or they got the anniversary 9/11 year mixed up.
