PM Paul Keating once said : if you don't understand it ,don't vote for it. If you understand it ,why would you vote for it?..pity that Malcolm Turnbull could not play cool politics very well. If Kevin Rudd only wanted to look good at Copenhagen , why should Malcolm tried to help him? ETS after Copenhagen makes a lots more sense than before it.

Talk about a party imploding. The party right has been using the media for weeks to undermine their own leader, then they bypass the most logical choice for replacement leader for someone who is simply not popular with the electorate (as polls clearly show). And the justification given for this? To be seen as being different from the government, not an echo of them, as Abbott himself has said. Looks like Rudd will have a stronger majority after next year's election, then he'll have to deal with the Greens on the environment when they hold the balance of power in the senate (as only half the senate is replaced each election and it's mostly the Liberals seats that are up for grabs under an unpopular leader). The result? An ETS that has to be greener than the government is aim at just to get it through.
Well done, Liberal party, you've not only messed up your own chances, but made the ETS we'll get even stronger than the one now offered. Now, that's forward thinking!

Well, after the recent events from the CRU, anyone who votes for a climate change bill, should be tossed out on their ear. If Rudd wants to look good, he should go home, and pull the bill, then attend Copenhagen proudly stating his opposition and refusal to have anything more to do with the fraud. But of course he won't do that. He like so many others are wedded to the big government expansion that cap and tax will bring.
