Australian mosque leader tells violent Muslims to leave country

All "mosque leaders" everywhere need to preach the same. Too bad they all don't wear the same shoe.

"Mosque chairman Neil El-Kadomi explained to reporters what he had told the faithful at morning prayers and ahead of a planned evening protest by right-wingers to close the building down. “I said you waited a long time to come to this country. You should not abuse the privilege you are Australian, which is very important. Get out. We do not need scumbags in the community. We reject terrorism.”

Thank you, Mr. El-Kadomi. I have very critical of the Muslim clergy who refuse to see reality. You are a breath of fresh air and give me a little hope that Islam and the world can co-exist.

You seem to be completely oblivious of how much courage it took for this man to stick his neck out. Most Muslims are not extremist and they don't support terror. But a tiny bit of research will show you that Muslim extremists attack mosques much more than churches.

LoL. Whatever do you mean? I know this. I watch and read the news on a daily basis. They're always blowing themselves up during a prayer. . . usually the shiites are the ones getting screwed over. The Shiites have their own issues, when will they wear that shoe?

Yes. You can guarantee there are vicious fanatics out there who'll be furious at the idea of a Muslim telling the faithful to submit to the man-made, not 'divine', laws of democratic Australia and accept its values.

A brave man. It's pretty depressing situation when a man is rightly lauded for bravery because he said something civilised people take for granted.

Finally someone who says something that makes sense.

@Peace Out You seem to have an intimate knowledge of these matters, you should go to Australia as a media spokesperson for the Muslim community, they sorely need one that can articulate their case.

Now we'll see how many death threats and Infatada's he'll be receiving over the next year. Hopefully the "devout" muslims won't murder him for heresy of the holy words passed down to Mohammed before that. There have been a few Imams and basic muslims calling for reform in Islam, as well as many apostates (both secretive and openly declared). Many not very good things have happened to them for doing so.

Don’t be too excited the Muslim leaders refusing to label Sydney Police station attack terrorism. If they call it terrorism attack and then they will go to hell. If you want to know why and then read this verses from Quran. http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/quran/023-violence.htm
