RIP Gerry. I just loved Baker Street, one of the best songs ever. I would listen to it over and over again in the 70's. Gerry had one of the best voices back in the 70's.

Agree, RIP.

Baker Street (a fav of mine) was great as was much of his other works like "Stuck in the middle with you" etc. He was also good when he toured/played with Billy Connoly.

63 is NOT an age to go, said that he been sick for some time so was not fully unexpected.

Still have the wax in storage. Just need to find out if the turntable will still turn.

I met him in a music shop in his home town a few years ago - we argued about the chords for "Stuck in The Middle" I'm sure he wasn't playing it right.
