The BBC has it faults, ten tiers of management is a example, offset by a history of truly top quality national broadcasting.

Cameron in an act spitefulness, over perceived bias during the elections is about to do tremendous damage to a esteemed public broadcaster that needs little more than a nudge in the right direction.

Leave Auntie alone, and give Cameron a little nudge in the right direction.

On second thoughts, give Cameron an almighty shove.

Cameron is hell bent on dismantling the BBC trust, or replacing it with a 'regulator', politicians are incapable of carrying out reforming organizations or institutions without cause irreparable damage. Theresa May is a example of incompetence personified.

Camerons intentions are clear when falling back on John Whittingdale, a man well known for the fact he despises the BBC, two of the appointees on the laughable panel of experts are Dawn Airey, and Ashley Highfield, the most ardent critics of BBC. Both are incapable of lessening to logic or reason with any matters BBC. .

First the NHS, now the BBC. The two things we have to be proud of, that make the UK a nicer place to live, are hated by the Tory elite. Cameron and his mates would love to get rid of the BBC, despite the British loving it and it's output. It's just political spite, pure and simple.

@Elizabeth

Dead right. Sickening bunch of privileged toffs and knobs. It's only by living in Japan that I've avoided having a stroke when faced by their sad antics....
