Who do these terrorists think is turning the country into a global battlefield ? Is it not Boko Harom and their outrageous actions. The forced conversions are a throw back to how much of the African continent which is Islamic got the religion in the first place, it was called "Islam or Die", for those not murdered it was profitable to sell into slavery. The outlook for these young women is pretty bleak as the terrorists no doubt expect a fire fight when confronted so doubtless these poor souls will be rigged for explosion or some other heinous form of death.

The press should stop labelling Boko Haram as "terrorists". Because they are not, at least in there own eyes. Islamic doctrine is very that fighting the infidels until they convert is an obligation in islam, and Boko Haram are follwing this command strictly. "Fundamentalist Muslim", yes. "Terrorist", no. That is a misnomer.

So the actually act of kidnapping girls at gunpoint with the threat of bodily harm, mutilation and forcing them to convert to Islam is NOT a terrorist act? Good Lord, what in blazes are you talking about?

Not in THEIR eyes, no. It depends on the perspective. And unless we understand the underlying ideology, we can never address the problem.

Hey BOZO Haram, go do humanity a favor and just go away!

The Nigerians could have had the girls back a long time ago if they offered such a deal. What have they been doing all this time? Hoping for a military solution?

They should return the girls, release the fighters, then recognize the independence of the chunk of land Boko Haram already holds. That way they don't have to worry about those fighters they just released.

That is a pathetic and weak argument. Ok, so if some radical fundamental Christian group were to do the exact opposite, these guys would be screaming for bloody murder and retribution. These idiots have a one way, narrow minded POV! They can treat everyone like a dog, but want YOUR head on a spike if you hurt their people. Regardless of where you come from, you have to be one seriously sick mental SOB if these people think they are justified in doing whatever they want, however they want! I have zero sympathy for anyone that would kidnap anyone's child and try to sell them for $12 Disgusting these radicals!

Frankly speaking, I could care less about their "ideology" or "perspective."

Kidnapping and trafficking little girls for the purposes making a political statement, or selling them in to slavery is just too outrageous and senseless.

These monsters are not human - but filthy animals.

I bet being forced to convert to islam is not the worst thing these poor children have been forced to do by these r soles with no brains acting under the guise of religious men.

Some one suggests releasing the boko's held by Nigeria and then reorganising their land, sounds good to me but reorganising their land should be done with balls of fire from above, namely B52s or similar.

When a group deliberately takes schoolgirls as hostages I really don't care about their ideology. Rescue the hostages and eliminate the perpetrators.

These girls don't deserve this. Boko Haram is asking for whole lot of trouble. Now the entire world is going to come and dig you out and make you pay for your crimes. Western Education is War, and you just signed up for It leader Abubakar Shekau...

In OUR (western) moral system, not in theirs. Under islamic law, taking female slaves from among unbelievers and using them for sex is acceptable. That is why Boko Haram is acting entirely rigtheous in THEIR moral system. And that is why it is misleading to simply label them as terrorists ore criminals. That is all that I have been pointing out.

Fwiw, Here is a fatwah explaining the legality of sex slavery:

Here is a fatwah explaining the legality of sex slavery:

I can think of nothing more degrading and morally wrong than taking away the freedom every human being is born with. Slavery, claiming ownership, like chattel or cattle to do with a fellow human as one pleases, insisting on a 'right' that could not have, was not, granted by any 'god' or prophet, If it was granted by a prophet claiming the directive came from 'his god', he was seriously flawed. If the right to have slaves, sexual slaves, this is extremely perverted and no religion can grant this, only a cult, a bloated and extreme cult. This is not about 'their' or 'our' point of view, it's about respect for another human, it's about indoctrination that is being perpetuated by radical zealots.

" this is extremely perverted and no religion can grant this "

But this religion does, like it or not. So we better acknowledge this reality and address it, i.e. by supporting those who want to change that religion. Just complaining about Boko Haram is pointless. They are on form ground within their religious doctrine.
