Iraq and afghanistan, how does the world help?

Unless they various warring factions , taliban factions and US/UK/EU see things in a common way behind all the confusion, there may be a way forward.

The bombings will continue until all infidels are out of Iraq.

sarge: sadly, they started not long after the illegal invasion of Iraq (according to the US signed UN charter, therefore going against their own signature), and will continue after Obama pulls out the troops who never should have been there to begin with. Well, until they install a dictator as bad or worse than Saddam was. Chalk up another point for US 'regime change'.

The casualties in northern iraq were shia muslim iraqis. The shia governance of iraq by Malliki government,is not accepted by pro-sunni iraqis.

Iraq governance has changed from pro-sunni Saddam to pro shia under Malliki. Many still not accepting new reality of governance.

Iraqis who are pro-sunni need of lot time and convincing by Malliki, to make self inner change for better tolerance.

Pro-sunni militants need to tolerate pro-shia iraqis.

The new Malliki government has taken over the same problems of tolerance woes , that existed in Saddam's era between Shia and Sunni iraqis.

The Malliki governance has to show improvement of justice, law, order, fairness and progress in new Iraq with shia-sunni woes.

Overall violence in Iraq remains well below the level of violence before the surge. Democracy "growing pains" if you will.

    By infidels you mean non-christians?

    Atheists?

    Agnostics?
