including a gigantic box placed over the leak and a tube inserted to siphon the oil away. Both of those ultimately failed.

This is the first I have noticed clearly printed that it failed. Did I miss an article?

Unstoppable oil leak is killing more billions of marine lives and birds. This is the most terrible disaster of all. Other wells might happen same way.

What, Obamas expert advice "just plug the hole" didn´t work? How come?

Heh, since Obama says he's in charge, it comes as no surprise the oil spill is catastrophic.

So what was your suggestion WilliB?

And Romeo, what exactly has Obama done to mess this up? Does his body harbor demons or something? Should he get an exorcism?

Yes Wizard you missed an article, but it was not here. Rely on a number of news sources...this one here touches on things for the gaijin community to spout out and it is good, but there are a lot of other places that showed this news in depth and even with video.

It's not about who the president is, nor what he is doing. It's about what the company (BP) is trying to do to stem the flow of oil. The administration, a Louisiana governor, the Congress: none of them have any technical expertise in the operation of oil drilling.

amerijap, facts, common sense....reality - these things matter not when your sole mission in life is ranting about President Obama.

BP nor associated experts have a magic solution. It's pretty worrying.

No, that's NOT my mission. I'm not ranting at Obama, because he's not the one responsible for BP's screw-up. So far, he's handling the situation much better than W in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, while he is likely to sustain a mounting pressure and a bitter criticism from national media and the Republicans as the time drags on.
