Just let's be correct in our assessments. NSA eavesdropped Rouseff and many other Brasilian political figures, as well as the Petrobras. In September-2013 Rouseff even cancelled her state visit to the US in protests of these actions. US is not a big fan of Rouseff, to put it mildly, so FizzBit is pretty much right. .

Brasilia is in trouble, but it's not on its knees. At least it does not have 18 tril. in national debt.

No, he's not. You're trying to extrapolate spying on officials to being able to "bring a country to its knees" the size of Brazil - that's a very big jump in assumption of capability of the NSA/CIA!
