Russia is just bombing everyone it can it would seem.

Is it the 50's "technology" or do they simply not care?

Perhaps the West needs to reevaluate their "precision smart" bombs considering they're seemingly unable to take out Toyota pickup trucks in the wide open dessert.

I guess the "smart bombs" can only be as smart as the people directing them...

@Madverts"Is it the 50's technology"

Hardly the tiny Isle that is situated west of France in the Atlantic ocean has anything even remotely comparable to current fleet of Russian supersonic bombers or say, precision cruise missiles. Sure, British traditional anti-Russian state propaganda was much more sophisticated in 1854, during the Crimean War.

Meanwhile, NATO with a vastly larger fleet in the theatre and operating with logarithmically larger budget, as accomplished absolutely nothing in the past two years.

They're accomplishing more in Iraq where they have coalition boots on the ground. Tikrit, Sinjar, Ramadi, with Mosul next.

Palmyra is still waiting though. Probably too many pickup trucks for Assad and Putin?

The story should continue:

Meanwhile in Yemen............................(crickets)

Britain said on Tuesday Russia could be trying to carve out an Alawite mini-state in Syria for its ally President Bashar al-Assad by bombing his opponents instead of fighting Islamic State militants.

Thank you Captain Obvious

Turning the tide...

Yep, any day now. Any day... Yep

For your information we have state of the art fighters in the shape of Typhoon and our Tornado aircraft have highly advanced missiles that not even the US forces have. We are also using drones (as are the US). This 'tiny isle' as you so condescendingly called it may have suffered at the hands of accountants, but we can still pack a punch.

Even a flea can bring a giant to his knees.

Anyway, back to the point... if you let Assad have his enclave - called it Assadland - it would stop the civil war overnight. Then you just need to concentrate on wiping IS and the other Jihadists off the face of the planet.

I like how some posters diss Europe and its countries.

Except one if(very big If) the Muslims take over Europe they will have access and control of our waspr capabilities and that I think is what truly scares them.

Imagine NATO((Europe) vs NATU(USA). Vs Russia.

if(very big If) the Muslims take over Europe

What a very silly way to begin any comment. Some centuries since anybody was thinking along those lines.

Seen it on quiet a few topics recently, Europeans are spineless, they want am Islamic Europe, etc.

So what if it happens what will be you worst case scenario like a putsch in the government of UK, France,Germany, etc. Now you got Musli!s controlling those countries, industry, military.

What will the USA do?

You must be looking through the telescope the wrong way or something.

Excellent. Then how about to use them against ISIS more agressively? Where all your mighty planes in Iraq, why they do not beat the hell out of bad guys?? Russians in several months did much more then US-led mighty-superpowerful-state-of-the-art-armed coalition did in years.

Mr.Hammond, please stop lamenting and doing nothing. Do more, do better then Russians, then you can open your mouth.

About usual Western propaganda about Russian campaign in Syria:

And what exactly is wrong with splitting Syria along ethnic lines?

Do the Alevites not deserve a state where they are not genocided by ISIS, just like the Kurds? Why does the West go to war on behalf of separatists (e.g. Kosovo) in some cases and demands that artificial states be kept to gether (like Iraq and Syria)?

It seems the media and politicians sometimes pull these artificial consensi out of thin air.

Never mind critics from Britian. She is saying on behalf of the Saudis and she taken Saudis bribery by turning a blindeye over ethnic cleansing of non Sunnis in Syria. UK is subjected to be a Caliphate faster than syria. Hopefully the Russians could save more people as possible.
