The idiocy continues. This makes as much sense as Obamas stupid war in Afghanistan.

So you're saying you're rather Obama and Brown send in the troops instead of training the Yemeni police to deal with terrorism? It's been known for some time now that the crazies have been operating out of Yemen and Somalia. Or would you rather just leave them all be and deal with the consequences when they come?
What is truly idiotic is when people complain about the work done in places like Afghanistan and Yemen, and then they complain that enough isn't done to stop the likes of that guy who tried to blow up a plane on Christmas day. Either you try to stop this sort of thing through intelligence and at its source, or you just let it go and accept the collateral damage as an acceptable cost.

Shouldn't the wealthy oil-rich Islamic nations in the region also be helping with funding these anti-terror units? Just asking.

Helter_Skelter,
They already are. The Saudis and Gulf Arabs aren't fond of these terrorists neither - bad for business. The US is acting as their proxy; they provide the US with oil.
