Sad story if the details are true. The problem is that with some people impersonating police, it makes others question whether real police are real.

The British man beat this ;police officer unconscious and left him. If the couple thought he was a fake copper and that the attack was in self-defense, they should have gone to the police. They should both be locked up for the max. Shame on them both.

Yeah, agreed that they should have alerted the police. Well, guess they know now that it was actually a real police officer, and they're going down... in a country that they're not citizens of. Must suck for them, but that's what stupidity get's you! Drunken stupidity!
