It wasn't her kitten, so banning her from keeping animals is a bit off the mark. Nasty little piece of work. I hope she gets some much-needed psychiatric help during those 168 days.

This is pretty disturbing on many levels. People who torture stuff are in serious need of mandatory counselling. Regardless this being a cat, the spitefullness of this woman is far deeper than one microwave incident. But, I don7t get the abuse thing? She was abused and her partner was turned in? So she took revenge by nuking a cat of the person that called the cops? Woah.

There was a similar case in the United States a couple of years ago. Again, a revenge killing and the criminal showed no remorse. Hopefully this conviction will be allowed as evidence in her next -inevitable- trial and it will play a factor in an especially harsh sentence.

Look at her reasons! Can you imagine if she got a call from the CDC trying to gather rape stats? Have you ever been raped miss? Yes! She says, by my current boyfriend! But if you report him I will microwave your kitten! See if I don't!

For some reason there are too many mean people in the world who have no ability to PROJECT and feeling EMPATHY to others what is like to get killed and causing injuries. I found that the lack of PROJECTION and EMPATHY to others is the most significant common denominator among all criminals including bullies. They cannot think anything else but themselves and often times, we cannot reform them to be the better citizens in society.

Im kind of surprised this made the Japan news, but whatever. It was all over the UK news a few days ago and people were rightly horrified. Wish I could say it was a rare occurance, and I suppose relatively speaking it is, but sad and scary to say it, there are people like this walking among us.

Would love to say that she might learn her lesson from jail-time, but I wouldnt mind betting she will wear her record like a "badge of honour", come home to a heros welcome in the neighbourhood (after all, vat uva botch did dob `er man into the pigs n all) and think the whole thing is a joke.

Feel sorry for the kids being raised in this kind of environment.
