How can the above to be achieved without a single drop of oil flowing through the pipe in Georgia to Turkey and reached the west? This incident has stunned all those soviet 'stan' that oil and natural gas must flowing through to the destination Moscow agreed.
It seems like everyone is forgetting who kicked off this conflict and was the agressor. A one million dollar sniper shooting President Mikheil Saakashvili of Georgia would have saved the U.S. taxpayer $1 billion. Washington needs to keep its puppets on a tighter leash.
We need to stop giving away money we don't have to Georgia.
The free markets should be a reward in themselves. If they can't survive without our aid they're not really "free" markets after all.
Seriously, I wish we could help the whole world and solve all of their problems, but in many places our help is seen as interference, we don't have the authority, and finally we just don't have the resources. We're in deep debt.

Well, you do understand there are circumstances where a free market can not just operate without outside help. So the tough approach can not work.
How much is Europe giving? I was told here that they are the ones who have to date best handled the 'crisis' - sentimental Lefty apologists for a neo-imperialist Russia can't quite bring themselves to call it an invasion.
I don't disagree that we, amd all free democratic nations should help
Georgia. But the fact is that the Russians broke it and they are the ones
who need to pay for it.
