old and bad habits die hard, this is what they have been doing, lecturing others and contributing to 'intelligence failure' at home.

I'm just hoping that the message will be mostly cast aside, and instead I'm hoping that we'll hear everyone's personal opinion about Bush.

I recommend using phrases such as "Pot, meet kettle." And using the word hypocrisy is nice, but add the word "astounding" somewhere in the sentence. Criticism included women's rights, so we need to make sure we bring up an important counter argument, such as the war in Iraq, to negate said criticism. Bush also talked about the lack of democracy in the Middle East, so perhaps we can mention Florida to provide a shield.

When this thread is said and done we need to make sure that any human rights issues in the Middle East are long forgotten. Be careful even when providing lip service about abuses since it will keep that issue in the readers' minds. It might be best if we all agree to not discuss anything that even looks like criticism unless it's directed at Bush.

Remember people, human rights in the Middle East is something that cannot be discussed here. It's up to us to make sure of that. If anyone does insist on talking about it, make sure you label that person as a blind Bush supporter. Granted, we might actually agree with the criticism that Bush gave, but that's not the point. Focus on the messenger and we'll all get through this together.

george bush is a has been now, as far as they are concerned. They have gotten all that they can from george bush.

    Next...

Who's the next president to just give away all that they can to the middle east.

So, are you saying right message wrong messenger?

  • adaydream at 02:14 PM JST - 19th May

No, I'm saying that they aren't going to give george bush anything, because it too late and he's almost out.

But if you read my last sentense, I said Who's the next president to just give away... Makes no difference who gets elected, we just give and give to the middle east and not getting crap for our efforts. Both parties do.

If we'd pump oil from under Gulls Island, we wouldn't need to ask for more oil. We could actually reduce our purchase from the ME.

adaydream: Ok, now I understand. And, I agree with you. I don't believe in giving so much, no matter what country, that one day they can have the upper hand on us. That is probably one of the reasons we are still calling Saudi's our allies; something that I really don't like.

This is so ridiculous. He lectures the Saudi government about freedom and womens rights, as if that was of any relevance in the Shariah state; and then coming from a worthless Kuffar like GWB. What counts in Saudi is the will of god, and god says very clearly in the Koran that women not equal and the only freedom that counts is the "freedom" to be a slave of god. And the Koran is the constitution in Saudi Arabia. What a foolish performance by Bush.

    No doubt.
