What a wicked wicked man. That poor little boy will suffer every day of his life now.
His father should be locked up for life in the most horrid prison they can find.

"What a wicked wicked man"
The guy was on PCP. The PCP is what's wicked.
Never done it myself but I saw a young guy on PCP drive a forklift off the dock.

Here's hoping the poor child gets his eyesight back and the counseling he needs.
As for dad, 4' X 6' X 25 years - chance of parole seems fair to me.

All the more reason why this man is wicked since anyone who could obtain a destructive drug like this knows what it does. He needs to be put away for a long time. The only person whom I have sympathy for is the kid.

I just hope by the time this little kid grows up technology will have advanced so much that artificial eyes are possible.

PCP/Angel Dust - I remember hearing about that stuff when I was growing up. That is one dangerous drug.

Surely this can't be for real. This is horrific!
adaydream at 01:47 AM JST - 20th May
Let's get this correct. The drug has a factor here. But it's the individual.
I remember when PCP was the big thing in the 70s. I did it several times, but I never did anything inappropriate.
This is an unstable individual who would have done something or has and hasn't been arrested.
I'm not advocating that PCP is a great drug to be out, I'm saying that the man was an ass to begin with. The drug only aided him to do what he was capable of before the use of the drug.
I can't imagine a 4 year old boy going through this heinous act. Only 4 and he has to live his life knowing that his father mutilated him. It's just unbelieveable. < :-)

For those questioning the mind-altering power of PCP, it should be noted that after eating his son's eyes, the gentlement then tried to hack off his own legs with an axe. Yeah.
DXXJP at 02:41 AM JST - 20th May
While your all crying about the PCP why not look up who invented it and why.
Adaydream had it right, this guy was headed to hurt his son weather on drugs or what not, the drug didnt make him do it. I have done it usually not voluntary most mexican weed is laced with it.
Im sorry for the boys pain but this is just another day in america when you think the place is just about to the bottom someone finds another step down.
JoeBigs at 07:05 AM JST - 20th May
Ok this guy needs to be put away in a padded room place that will help him with his problems. This guy is a faukanut in the worst way man. I have heard and seen some crazy stuff in my years and this one just made the top ten! Maybe he should have aimed that axe at bit higher and done everyone a favor....

There is a reason for drug rehab centers, this man is certainly going to need that as well as deal with a prison sentance and the fact he mutilated his own child.
As for Aday and Dxxjp, there is one thing you need to know about drugs and the human body. Every person has a different metabolism, and drugs react to each metabolism differently, its not a one size fits all. Apparantly his chemical makeup isn't able to handle it, not to mention he shouldn't have been doing it in the first place.
USARonin at 02:23 PM JST - 21st May
By any reasonable estimate, 'drug rehab centers' don't work.
It can take up to a dozen tries at 30,000 USD a whack before they get it right.
We can't afford these junkies' selfish self-centered behaviors.
Daddy doesn't need 'rehab'. Daddy requires prison.

I don't think it is accurate to say PCP only enhances the propensities of the user. It has been known to cause hallucinations and other strange things in people. This guy bit out the eyes of his son. Another rapper on PCP murdered a friend and ate her lungs. I think it is correct that these may have been violent folks to begin with, but there is no way these guys would have pulled this stuff without being on the drugs.
Altria at 02:32 PM JST - 21st May
Do a Youtube search for PCP. There's a guy punching a hole in a fence, a guy rolling around making weird screaming noises, and other awesome stuff.
It can really mess up your head, depending on the person. It's hard to stop someone rampaging on PCP because they're amped up and don't feel any pain.
