Advice for the future buddy: get a quieter hands free set or ditch that cell phone, put a hatchet in the car or even one of those things designed to break windows complete with a razor to cut the seat belt, start taking some prozac, and FOR GOD'S SAKE STAY AWAY FROM GUNS!

And I would not be surprised if the vehicle was sinking in four feet of water with as guy as panicky as this!

That's just it Molenir. It may have saved his life THIS TIME, but as guns make more noise than hands-free sets I am thinking it might be better to use other devices next time. Otherwise he could off himself or someone else.

And I still question whether it was actually necessary to shoot out the window while his car was sinking in Pleasant Grove CREEK. I am thinking there is a good chance he many have over-reacted TWICE. But if you are going to bat for him without being a little skeptical, I suppose that is your right.

Well, my many friends, clearly one of two items featured in this article needs to be BANNED, and I mean like yesterday. Either SUVs or guns. And yes, it IS as simple as that. Even though no one was injured THIS TIME, the potential for a violent ending EXISTED, and as I have had to explain to many people here far too often violence NEVER solved anything.

Here endeth my lesson.

I heard an interview with a witness who was just about to jump in the water to help. But when he heard gun shots and saw the guy wielding a gun, he took off running. I would've done the same. :-)

How about learning to drive instead of debating gun control?

I'm sure a well placed foot would have smashed a window just as well as a 9.
