I applaud Debra Rogoff and her family for doing the right thing.

It would have been nice to get a reward for doing the right thing, but she feels good about herself just for returning the money.

"Ten thousand dollars is her "life savings?" She's obviously not wealthy but probably has more than the newly destitute rich who got wiped out by Madoff's Ponzi scheme.

Well, I don't know... the old lady was right about one thing. She had lost faith in her bank and decided to keep her life savings in a cracker box. It came back too, again, a better bet than the banks!

Yup, I can see where she's coming from.
