Police and other officials said it was not related to Islamic terrorism.

Well.. that's ok then. I wouldn't want to have been killed by an Islamic terrorist. Much better by a white guy.

What a bunch of spoiled idiotic brats. Make them live in a ghetto with gang-bangers, drug dealers, and drive-bys. They'll be too worried about dealing with those, instead of having enough time to "plot" killing people on a mass shooting. What the hell is wrong with these suburban twits that this is what they intend to do with their lives? Too "bored" with having enough in life?

So glad we're reading about it like this and not after their plan had been carried out or some such horrible scenario. As much as I hate reading about how there are sickos like this out there and how unsafe we all really are or could be at any moment, I'd much rather read about it in this form. Good on the police for foiling the plot. Now they need to trace where the two got the access to the guns and stop any illegal activity on that front as well.

The press should just report mass killings like a police blotter entry. No need for pictures, names of the suspects and other pandering sensationalism.

That will fulfill the public's right to know.
